"You know more of a road by having traveled it than by all the conjectures and descriptions in the world." - William Hazlitt

Welcome to Oregon Motorcyclist

The beautiful Pacific Northwest, and Oregon in particular, boasts an abundance and variety of great motorcycling roads. From the spectacular Oregon Coast to the jaw-dropping Columbia Gorge, from majestic Mt. Hood to the surreal Crater Lake, from the Coast Range to the Cascades, from the Wallowa Mountains to the high desert, Oregon is unparalled in its beauty and opportunities for any type of riding that interests you. Oregon Motorcyclist is dedicated to opening a window on the motorcycling opportunities available in this great state and sharing our riding experiences with you.

As the William Hazlitt quote above states, there is no substitute for personal experience. Our hope is that this site becomes your guide to the experience and your quest to "...know more of a road by having traveled it." Thanks for visiting and happy motorcycling!
